My kiddles love this one - the "Hello There" song! It is a perfect song for the start of the Music class as it gets the kids involved while singing this call and response song and enjoying music and movement! Here are the lyrics and the tutorial! Have fun and enjoy making music! 5/14/2020 0 Comments Baby SharkI remember the time when this song "exploded" all over the internet! It is such a catchy little song, very easy to learn and to sing. The kiddles will absolutely love doing the actions and body movements as a baby, mommy, daddy, grandma and the grandpa shark. The other additional verses such as "let's go hunt", "run away" and "safe at last" open up a great deal of fun movements, and you will be enjoying your little ones "swoosh" through your classroom as little sharks! Have fun and enjoy!
5/14/2020 0 Comments Old McDonald Had an OceanThis is a version of the well known song Old McDonald Had a Farm. But, think about it - it is almost summer time, so why not have the Old McD own an ocean, instead of a farm?! :) Why, not, I say!
I am sure your students will find this change so very funny and entertaining! Imagine the variety of movements you can create to be a "shark" and "chomp, chomp, chomp" through the classroom - oh what fun! You can also include the easy Art lesson with this one, and make the face masks per each animal mentioned in the song with your kiddles and parade around the class! There is a potential for at least a week of work in your Music class! Here are the lyrics and the song tutorials! Enjoy and have fun! 5/14/2020 0 Comments Head, Shoulders, Knees and ToesAnother one of the classics and the favorites, a very well known song - "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes". There isn't a toddler that does not know this one, it is one of the favorites, at least with the students in my school, that's for sure!
I do love this song, since it is so very simple and helps the little ones not only sing and learn the song, but practice the body parts, and do some physical exercise in the process - I am LOVING this! Sing along following the lyrics found here, and my video tutorial! Have fun! 5/14/2020 0 Comments Open, Shut Them"Open, Shut Them" is a cute action song that requires lots of hand movements. 5/13/2020 0 Comments The Hand-washing SongThis song comes very appropriately nowadays. In this song I am teaching the students how to wash their hands in the right way and still have fun doing it. It is a great method if you want to help your impatient toddler to wash learn how to wash their hands for 20 second to get all of those nasty germs out. The melody to sing to is also a famous one - a "Are You Sleeping" song.
